Is Your Club up to the Challenge on the ‘Day of the Dog’ ?

At Sandown Greyhound Racing Club, we understand the tough task clubs face in making ends meet each year and we’re pleased to be our new Club Challenge series, THE DAY OF THE DOG where we offer your club a Sunday afternoon (first race at 2pm) (or some night events) at the Sandown Greyhounds as both an opportunity for team camaraderie and a fundraising opportunity where we have done almost everything for you!

 

In the past few years, we’ve given away more than $200,000!

Our new series offers brand new fun ways for your club to earn prize money and have a whole lot of fun while you’re at it! Get ready for the new ‘gameshow’ “Pick a Dog Box”! where you can win instant cash and up to $5,000 cash for your club!

Apart from the prize money we offer, there’s also a tremendous opportunity for your club to do some fundraising of your own via ticket sales and the opportunity to on-sell naming rights to a race.

How it works:

You bring 20+ Players, Sponsors or Supporters (please note 25 is the minimum required for the complimentary bus to pick you up and take you back) at a cost of just $15 per head.

You can charge what you want but we believe a reasonable level is between $25 and $35 per head ……..so that’s an automatic $10 to $20 profit per head for your club straight off the bat before we even get to the prize money!

Clubs registered will draw a box colour on the day with $100 up for grabs every race if their greyhound wins!

Plus one lucky guest will get the chance to play the new gameshow to win up to $5,000 cash (plus many more prizes) for their club!

  • $10 betting voucher per person plus a further chance to win a $20 betting voucher.

Dates:

There will be two series run over the year with successful clubs then given the opportunity to compete in the finals or even more cash prizes and fun.
